Ry started his 2nd year of MBA school so we are home-sweet-home. It has been so fun to see all our friends again and be back in our place. I'm hoping the year doesn't go too fast because I'm going to be so sad when it's over! We really love it here. Some of the fun things we have done since we got back include Midway Swiss Days, Petting zoos, lots of trips to the beautiful BYU campus to visit Rybo, hikes, cousin time, etc. The weather could not be better...maybe the snow should just stay away this year. Talmage just started preschool at the coolest place ever and his having the time of his little life (that is him in the carseat being "so excitied!" on his first day), and Luke could not be more perfect. He is working on walking (no actual steps yet- but can stand unassisted) and is the happiest little guy ever.
I love this country! We had a great 4th here with family in Vegas that included a Bellagio visit, pool party, and watching fireworks in our van because Talmage hates noise. It was tons of fun and I really do love the good 'ol USA!
We decided to go check on our place in Provo for the weekend and had lots of fun visiting family and getting in some cooler weather. Highlights included the gorgeous Alpine park, yogurt with cousins, Talmage picking out his own pair of shoes for the first time, visiting with friends, and my new favorite toy- a wagon:)
We are enjoying our summer in Vegas. Talmage is on 2 soccer teams and a T-ball team (all of which he loves). Luke is pulling himself up on everything he can, and we went to the Green Valley Resort in Henderson for Father's Day. We did one night without the kids and one night with them so it was perfect. We got a great package that included a $200 dining credit so Ry and I had lots of fun trying out all the yummy restaurants for free! Some of our family even came to play with us at the pool while Ry was working. Happy Father's Day to the World's Best Dad!!
We are having lots of fun in Vegas. Ry loves his internship and I love not working! Talmage is just starting soccer and t-ball, and Luke is working on pulling himself up on furniture so there are lots of exciting things happening in the Christensen household! They are both happy, sweet, and great sleepers. We have a blast with our two boys and are quite content with our little family (yea, I may be done!) I love watching them grow up everyday and just have so much fun hanging out with them. I'm so lucky!
