Christmas Lights

We went with a bunch of family to see the pretty lights at temple square- Talmage ran the entire time (like usual), Jamie even brought hot chocolate and cookies for us, we had lots of fun!

Luke's Baby Blessing

Ry blessed Luke on Sunday and it was so great to have almost all of our families there for it. Luke is a happy little 7 week old. I have been sleep training him and it is going great; he went from 8pm-5 without eating last night so I am counting down until I can get a full night's rest! That is by far the hardest part for me with having kids- not getting my ten hours of sleep :) He is a big little boy, fills out the 3-6 month clothes now. He whizzed right through the newborn stuff! Talmage is still the sweetest big brother of all time, always very concerned with where Luke is and when he cries he tells me to "Go get him mom, hold him." So glad he stays on top of me. We are looking forward to Ry being done with this semester so we have dad around a bit more, and we all can't wait for Christmas!

6 Weeks!

Luke is our happy little baby. He is smiling tons and even has cute little laughs. He is wearing 3 month size and the size one diapers are getting snug so he seems to be keeping up nicely with his brother. We can't prop him up at all cause he scoots his little bum off. The other day he finagled his way off a pillow on the floor of Talmage's room and was face down with his head resting on a flashlight when we noticed. He didn't make a peap! I also caught him and Ry sleeping on the couch today:)

Luke'ster is 5 weeks!

We sure adore this little guy. He is smiling all the time now and getting more on a regular schedule- he even does a 7 hour stretch at night! He is getting bigger by the day-the fat rolls are multiplying:) Can't wait to watch him grow up!

Below are some pics of Talmage and his musical bath. He loves playing in the bathtub- stays in there for about an hour so I'm always looking for fun things for him to do in ther, the bath instrument package I found may be the best one yet :)

Jungle Jims

Talmage's cousin turned three so we celebrated it in style at in indoor amusement park in Midvale, it was super fun. Talmage's favorite (as you will see) was a jeep ride. He did have a massively bloody nose though from a slide colision (you can see his fat lip in the pic of him and I) but healed quickly when he saw the cupcakes:) Luke is doing great- we drag him lots of places and he just sleeps the whole time!

So since one of my favorite people in the whole world is super far away I need to update my blog frequently with pics of Luke so she can see him...sorry to everyone else if I post too often:) We love you Holls and miss you!!

Happy Halloween!

So the Christensen family went as pirates this year (well, except for too-cool dad) We had an awesome time celebrating the holiday with lots of fun activities; including a BYU-MBA dinner and activities, and a ward trunk-r-treat. Luke slept through everything (doesn't know what he's missing) and Talmage went to town with his bucket of candy- it was hilarious. Glad it's just once a year!

More of the newbie

We are enjoying our two boys, Luke is a little angel. Also Grandma Christensen has been helping us all week and it has been wonderful, don't know what I'm going to do when she's gone!
