So to my surprise, I made it to my induction date. The labor was awesome- 3 pushes (nice change from the 2 1/2 hours with Talmage) and a much smaller baby. He was 8 lbs. 2 oz and 20 inches long (Talmage 9 lbs. 12 oz, 20.5). So far he is a great baby, sleeps all day long but wakes to eat- he is a BIG eater. It's amazing how you can love someone so much that you hardly know, we are quite smitten with him and so excited to have him in our family!

Hee Haw Farms

Today we went to a fun farm in Pleasant Grove with our friends Joe and Catherine. Talmage and Matea are 3 days apart and Catherine is due one month after me- and we aren't even doing it on purpose! It was way fun and also the first day that it has felt cold in Utah... kinda fun for an always-hot pregnant girl:)

Luke's Baby Shower!

So Brittany and Mandy (two of my AWESOME friends) threw me a baby shower (even though I told them it was against the rules since I'm just having another boy) and it was so much fun. It was at a beautiful park where we had a yummy lunch that lots of people contributed too (including my chef mother) and the kids played at the playground and fed the ducks. It was so fun and I got lots of great stuff for little Luke. Thanks to all 20 of you girls that came, I love you all!!
P.S. Membranes are getting stripped on the 13th and induction is set for the 19th- one more week!

4 weeks to go...

This is me @35 and 36 weeks...can you see the drop? So crazy, I can't believe it's almost time, we are super excited and a little bit nervous, this pregnancy seems to have flown by. I just bought diapers, formula, etc. I can't believe we are going to have 2 kids, ahh!!

Livin' up the summer as long as possible...

So we are living in a super fun complex where the kids can play all day outside, Talmage is loving it! This day consisted of a slip n' side, mud puddle, and a very difficult clean up in the bath (that is after Ryan hosed him off)

Happy Labor Day!

We had a fun-filled weekend in Park City. My dad raced in the park city point-to-point 78 mile mountain bike race (yea he is crazy and in awesome shape), had a bbq, swim party, ride on the "people mover", and my dad had a "treasure hunt" hike for the kids. The weather was beautiful, I can't believe how nice it has been here. Thanks mom and dad for all the fun!!

Boston

For our final hooray before leaving the east coast we took a weekend trip to Boston. We went to the harbor, Harvard, Paul Revere's House, the Boston Temple, M.I.T., and even visited Yale in Connecticut on the way home. We found a good deal on a really nice DoubleTree where our video monitor worked in the hotel restaurant so Ry and I even got a romantic dinner in after we put down munchkin:) It was a really cool place to see. We are leaving to go back to Provo next week and are excited to start our next adventure (MBA school) but have sure enjoyed our time here in Jersey. Here are some pics of the trip highlights....P.S.
